Change The Way You See is a project I developed to create a thought-provoking series of decoder booklets, designed to raise awareness about global issues in an interactive and engaging way. As a graphic designer, I am driven to produce work that not only resonates visually but also carries meaningful messages. This project allowed me to combine creativity with social advocacy.
Inspired by my involvement with Kappa Delta and its partnership with Prevent Child Abuse America, the first booklet in this series focuses on raising awareness of the often-overlooked realities of child abuse. At first glance, the playful illustrations and childlike elements evoke the innocence we associate with childhood. However, through the use of decoding visuals, the deeper and more troubling impacts of child abuse are revealed, encouraging the viewer to literally "change the way you see."
